Dr. Trotter was born and raised in Ball Ground, Georgia, where she attended Macedonia Elementary, Teasley Middle School and Cherokee High School. She attended Georgia Highlands University, where she received her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene. She then attended The University of Georgia and obtained a Bachelors of Science in Education. Dr. Trotter received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from The Medical College of Georgia, where she also completed her two year pediatric dental residency and received her Master of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Trotter also had the opportunity to train at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, working with primarily special needs children and children with craniofacial anomalies.
Dr. Trotter maintains excellence in her knowledge by attending continuing education and remaining active in the dental profession. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, Georgia Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
Dr. Trotter is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, as she has successfully completed both the written and clinical parts of the exam. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, she strives to uphold the standards of the Board with every patient.
In her free time, Dr. Trotter enjoys spending time with her amazing husband and their sweet boys, Jay & Sam. She also enjoys playing tennis, shopping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Patel was born in southern Georgia, and he grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended Lakeside High School. He then attended the University of Georgia and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, graduating as a First Honor Graduate. Dr. Patel went on and completed his formal dental training at the Medical College of Georgia, where he not only received his Doctor of Dental Medicine but also met Dr. Trotter. Upon graduating from dental school first in his class, he attended The Ohio State University Orthodontic Residency Program, one of the nation’s top programs. Taught there by world-renowned orthodontists, Dr. Patel completed a 33-month post-graduate program and received his orthodontic specialty certificate and Master of Science in Oral Biology.
Dr. Patel maintains excellence in his knowledge by attending continuing education and remaining active in the dental profession. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, and American Association of Dental Research.
Dr. Patel is a Board Certified Orthodontist, as he has successfully completed both the written and clinical parts of the exam. On a personal note, Dr. Patel loves spending time with his beautiful wife and their sweet boys, Jay & Sam. For recreation, he enjoys running, skiing, swimming, playing tennis, bowling, and traveling.
